Overview:
Lea Manor High School is a mixed school of 1045 students aged 11-16 serving the vibrant and diverse community of north Luton. Although our community is characterised by significant areas of economic disadvantage, we do not regard this as a barrier and our students bring enthusiasm, aspiration, creativity and a limitless potential to succeed. We regard them as our biggest single resource in developing our school to be one of which we can all feel immensely proud.
Our aim is to provide high quality education in a safe and inclusive environment where everyone is valued and respected. All staff members, in partnership with parents and families are fully committed to students’ learning and career readiness. Students are empowered to meet current and future challenges to develop social awareness, civic responsibility, and personal growth. The School Improvement Plan represents our unqualified determination to provide for the community of north Luton a secondary school that will support their children and young people to flourish; a safe, happy and ambitious school that will raise the expectations of students, staff and the wider community. A school that will give our youngsters the skills, knowledge and determination they need to enjoy the successful and fulfilled futures of which they are all capable, and which they all deserve.
