Overview:

Challney High School for Girls is an 11-16 girls’ school with 1050 students. In January 2020 the school was graded Ofsted ‘outstanding’. The Progress 8 scores for the school place it amongst the best performing schools nationally. In summer 2022 the school was in the top 20 schools nationally for the progress of disadvantaged students. The school is recognised for its extensive links with the community and its social action and fundraising efforts for local charities.
